The values that shape me.
Honesty.
"Being yourself" is a phrase we often hear and that is part of our lives and culture. But... what if I told you that being yourself is simply being honest?
To me, being oneself is about being honest, about saying what you really think and what you really feel. Honesty is something that often requires courage, and it is precisely for this reason that it is such a valuable characteristic in a person.
Personally, I strive to be honest in all aspects of my life because at the end of the day, I am fighting to be myself.
Kindness.
Kindness involves being compassionate, considerate, and treating others around you with gentleness.
You might be a very competent and skilled person, but if the people around you don't feel comfortable being with you, you'll end up subtracting more than you're adding.
The simple act of being kind to someone can open the doors you've been waiting for.Resilience.
Throughout our lives, we encounter difficult challenges, such as learning to play an instrument, facing a physical change, or learning to program.
These are goals that require time and effort, which is why resilience is such a positive value. It teaches us the value of hard work, how to recover from adversity, and how to have a better attitude towards life.
Personally, knowing that I'm giving my all in something is what makes me feel alive.
