These are my professional experiences up to today.

  1. Jaxon Media Group. Audiovisual content creation and virtual tours startup.

    Jaxon Media Group is my most recent professional experience. This company seeks to revolutionize the way we interact and acquire goods on the internet by using virtual reality.

    At Jaxon, I was focused on developing the Brokhr product. This website aims to revolutionize the way we acquire real estate properties (houses, apartments, etc.) through an immersive augmented reality experience.

    During my tenure, I focused on making proposals to enhance the user experience while navigating Brokhr Bosque Real, as there was a significant usability issue for users accessing the site.

    This was a very enriching experience for me as I learned about the pace of work in a startup, the importance of agility in development, the value of ideas, and seeing everyone working tirelessly to bring an idea to light and make it work. It's simply inspiring.

    Main Activities:

    • Responsible for making functional design proposals for the Brokhr product using technologies such as Next.js, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, and Strapi.
    • Improve the user experience when accessing the Brokhr Bosque Real website.
    • Increase the number of users who end up contacting our advisors.

  2. Siayec Group. Technology company offering services and solutions to the market. AWS Partner.

    Siayec Group is my second professional experience. At Siayec Group, I focused on developing the Indika360 FSM product. Initially, this was a solution for tracking and tracing field operations for the company. However, this solution went further and was also sold to multiple clients. 🎉

    Siayec Group is an AWS partner, so Indika360 FSM was built entirely with AWS. This was a great growth opportunity for me, as I was able to certify myself as an AWS Cloud Practitioner and, more importantly, learn to interact with multiple AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AppSync, SNS, SQS, CloudFormation, etc.

    In the development team, I also learned to work with SCRUM and based on a backlog in an organized and professional manner. The work environment was incredible and unique. I had colleagues and leaders from whom I learned a great deal and for whom I am very grateful. 🙏

    Main Activities:

    • Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering new features for the Indika360 FSM product. Using React.js, MaterialUI, and AWS.
    • Implement technical solutions to improve the performance of the Indika360 FSM application.
    • Train new members of the development team.
    • Provide technical support to Indika360 users.
    • Efficiently solve platform errors using Jira and Sentry.

  3. Aurora. Digital innovation agency.

    Aurora is an agency focused on carrying out social and educational projects.

    My first work experience was at Aurora. It is the venture of my colleague Luis from the "JavaScript School," and in January 2021, he contacted me to collaborate with him.

    At Aurora, I learned a lot about software development and experienced exponential growth as I had to face many challenges during my stay. For example, learning to consume the Twitter API, developing with Next.js, learning to use GraphQL to query data, knowing how to integrate a headless CMS like Prismic, among others.

    Main Activities:

    • Responsible for building the backend in the project solutions using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
    • Design views and new features using InVision and Figma.
    • Frontend development using Next.js as well as support in integration with the backend.
    • Documentation of implementations and developed features.
